This is filled with so much perfection and awesomness and a lot of other stuff my english vocabulary don't have words for.
I feel bad for Rome, though.

Poor Ezio, all that money he used to rebuild it, all wasted...

Claudia says there's a huge difference between mere waste and a clever investment.

Ezio agrees with that; he just don't think wine and dresses are clever investments.

Claudia would say that when he's been running the family finances for a few decades, he's entitled to suchlike opinions. Until then, he's not.

and the Ezio would pout and say that that he was the one bringing in all the money to the family during those decades.
Though I'm pretty sure Claudia would also remind him of a certain young man wasting all his money on women and wine.

Ezio says that he was busy saving Italy from traitorous svines and avenging their father while she sat safely on her ass, writing in a book.

Ezio says that he tried to explain, but SOMEONE was to busy complaining over her "slavework" to actually listen.

Oh, Ezio will probably just give up at some point and sulk around for the rest of the day. La volpe is on Claudias side, remember? EZIO CANNOT WIN.

There is that. XD Machiavelli and Bartolomeo just don't cut it in comparison. X3

Bartolomeo would be held back by his wife, (wich naturally is on Claudias side,) and Machiavelli would just glare at La Volpe. And then he'd succumb under La Volpes Ultra-epic-death stare.

"It's not as though we forced the people of Roma to hand over all their riches! We just... nudged them a little. Alright, maybe we did help some of those riches along a bit, but between us we do run the most popular bordello in town and command the thieves' guild, making people depart with their sweet florins is our job..."

Okay, I have got to favorite this (given that I've come back to stare at it for the fifth time). I love the shading, I love the expressions, and your mini! (or is that chibi?) Ezio is nice, and the attention to detail given that it feels like a sketch, but I have got to ask...
What happened to La Volpe's legs? Under the hem of his tunic, there's shading, but no legs that I can see. Was that on purpose?
But I love the humor, and those two plotting...I agree. Who will watch the watchers to ensure the peace? It's like going with the devil you know.

Well, I love it regardless. And the fact that it's a doodle, without borders or coloring just adds to the adorableness (plus without borders gives the impression that there is nothing stopping this duo).
...and if that's what you call not putting in much effort, I am in awe of you. ^.^

Don't worry, Ezio - they know better than to bleed their victim- I mean, city - completely dry. Some life will remain for future ... bloodletting.
