Description
Something of a spoiler for Order of the Phoenix, but it really doesn't give away that much...Sirius is just one of those nice characters delicately poised between good and evil - I like that.
Character obviously belongs to JK Rowling and Warner Bros. Picture inspired by Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Endlessly. I liked the undefined red spell so much more because it meant Sirius was ALIVE when he fell through the veil, and captured in that elsewhere. Not Avada Kedavra'd on the spot. :/

I was actually hoping that the fact that he was hit by something red weould be some kind of...backdoor for him to return you like he entered the realm of the dead before his time and it just took him two years or so to get back but well...can't change that now

Yes, that. Or that maybe he was stuck in the realm of the dead forever, but not ACTUALLY being dead, and so able to remain in touch somehow... Wish they'd played that angle, or even just hinted at the possibility in the movies. But alas. Either way, appreciated you noticed the detail and recognized it for what it was.

I love how there's just the slight shadow of his hand on the arch... And my GOD that was a glorious book. Why did he have to die!!!!!!!!!! But, it's a good thing the books are really written for a younger generation because I could tell the whole time that he was going to die... If Rowling hadn't talked about the Black family line and this and that all throughout the rest of the book, I wouldn't have seen it coming...but I've read too many books to miss something that was being so clearly foreshadowed. Anyway! Magnificent work! Catches a lot of the image and character portrayed in the book.

I keep wondering how you make the hair so realistic. How do you get those single hair lines?
What I like most, is the flaming spell in the middle of the image, beautifull because it draws all the attention, but when looking at his face, he seems occupied by something in the distance and not with the spell.

There's no secret to the hair - I draw it that way, strand by strand.

My husband thought there was something so wrong with me while I was reading this part of the book. I was pretty close to tears. But I wouldn't tell him what was goin on because he's still reading The goblet of Fire. this is beautiful. His expression is perfect... one of surprise and terror mixed. The colors and the lighting are absolutely amazing. One of the best Sirius fanpics i've seen on DA! Wonderful work!

I cried during this part of the book . . . I was so furious afterwards that I was tempted to never read another of her work. This picture alone makes me think of my own life, how I've had so many hardships, earned and lost . . . I love this work, Sara, too it had to be Sirius . . .

i really wondered hwta happened to him after the veil is it like the realm of the dead or sumthing? i love the colour of that magic coming from his chest and the highlights in his eyes, all your work and the world of pangaea is beautiful

Sirius was my favorite character from those books, and I was devastated when he went through the veil. I still hold a teeny-tiny hope that he'll be back, in some way or another. *crosses fingers* Lovely work as always.

It captures the moment. That is so cool. Good choice of color (it looks analogus). I especially like the border on the top and left sides of the picture. It polishes it off nicely.
