Not only this content is so very true, my hand always gets stuck it annoys, but the pose and the coloring is grrreat. Purple shadows rock my socks anyway, but the little "feathery" fur detail makes it. It's not too much but just fitting. Keep that up!

I know what you mean! When a new effects turns out unexpectedly nice, it's often hard to recreate. I once drew a realistic looking lake and forgot the ways it was done
And looking at your fur, it makes me wonder the same. Looks like some kind of filter, but I can't say which xD But just that it looks very 3D like o.o

I think it was a combination of... *opens photoshop*
Paint daubs and oil paint just on my multiply layer... the paint daubs gave me the texture and edges I wanted and the oil paint took away the sharpness. Using filters always makes me feel like I've been lazy but I guess I had to have some kind of skill to use them properly.
Water... I've never mastered water. It that the one with the doggy in the water? Cause that's one of my favourites of yours.

Oil paint in Photoshop? It seems my version can't do that at all. I only use CS3. And my abilities in SAI are pretty limited, oh well! ._. But it's your technique anyways, though I was interested in how it was done actually :'D
