so I was like,
"uh. I'll chill with some portraits for just a sec, since I haven't drawn portraits in awhile."

and yes 8 years may sound like a long time, as compared to 3 years
but the real question is, how many days within those years have you drawn?
some people draw daily, and daily as in. 5 hours per day, everyday.
comparing yourself to other people who dedicate their lives to drawing
isn't really respectful to yourself or to those who sacrifice so much time and effort to art.

i even carry a sketch book around with me everywhere
saying i am a disgrace to those other people is very insulting.
for fucks sake my skin is bleeding because of a medical condition and im in constant pain and i still draw.
even when im in a mental hospital i still draw.
and i still suck.
to even imply the reason i suck is out of shear laziness is insulting.

hey look, I'm sorry about that if anything that I've said have insulting you,
I don't know anything about your personal life and such,
since I can only assume with that negative attitude of saying "I suck."
is the thing that's hindering you from going any further than what you have.
Complaining about your life or how bad you are etc on my posts isn't going to do you any good or make you suddenly become a great artist.
I hope you skin gets better, and that art will remain as a passion of yours no matter the hardships you go through.

Saying I suck.. means im never happy with the level of art im at.
It drives me to improve.
Even if it's a little toxic and hurting me emotionally.
It still helps me improve.
Btw. Let's remove your ability to complain and make you bottle up all of your emotions. Trust me. In no time you will want to hurl yourself out of a window.
People need to say what's on there fucking mind. Keeping it bottled up just causes stress. The kind of stress that makes you want to crush a puppy beneath you feet as you hear a snap.
After trying to kill myself several times. I learned not to keep anything bottled up.
And be honest about how you feel.
