I wonder how did the Chipettes became orphaned before they were with Olivia? The people who worked on the 80's cartoon never explained it to us. Not even in the Nickelodeon one.

I actually wrote about that in an old fanfic trilogy I did a hundred years ago, but it's a tad dark.

I see. I read the fanfiction that's kinda like whatever you mentioned, you know where a female chipmunk who claims to be the Chipettes' mother but then revealed as a con-artist who tried to sold them to Ms. Grudge, the owner of the orphanage where the Chipettes and Olivia once lived at, and where the Chipmunks and the Chipettes then in actual relationships.

KatieGirlsForever, would you mind seeing that possibly happening (the mystery of how the Chipettes were orphaned being explained) if the Late 20th Century versions of the Chipmunks & the Chipettes made a comeback alongside Olivia in newer animated productions, which could possibly include and also just might not be limited to an inter-dimensional crossover between the traditionally hand-drawn Alvin and the Chipmunks series that debuted in 1983 and the CGI "ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks" series that debuted in 2015, similar to the inter-dimensional crossovers between the traditionally hand-drawn Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series that debuted in 1987 and the CGI TMNT series that debuted in 2012?
Would you mind that, SimanetteFan?
I think I might even, at some point, create a petition asking the Bagdasarians to at least consider giving us something like that one of these days!

Well, an inter-dimensional crossover has already happened between the Turtles of the 1987-1996 TMNT show and those of the 2012-2017 TMNT show and another one has already happened between the Chipmunks of the 1983-1990 Alvin and the Chipmunks show (and therefore by extension "The Chipmunk Adventure") and those of the 1961-1962 show known as "The Alvin Show," right?
Do you think Ross Bagdasarian, Jr., Janice Karman and their family would be open to having something similar happen between the traditionally hand-drawn Chipmunks & Chipettes of the 1983-1990 AATC show and the CGI ones of the currently running "ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks," KatieGirlsForever?
If so, do you think that maybe, just maybe, that could be the start of a bigger comeback (even if only a temporary one) of the traditionally hand-drawn Chipmunks & Chipettes who became famous in the late 20th Century, in the form of at least one new direct-to-video movie, or perhaps two new direct-to-video movies, or maybe even three if all goes well?
Do you think that Olivia could appear in at least one of said hypothetical direct-to-video movies, voiced by Bindi Irwin?

Well, if enough people can rally together out of a desire to see something like that (Like a continuation of the 1983-1990 AATC show that features new characters and lesser used original series characters, like Olivia and Vinny, becoming recurring and/or at least semi-major characters) happen, perhaps it will actually happen one day!
