Look at this stuff...
on the face of it you may not immediately see the connection but i think this is the type of stuff you'll be doing when you start to get the blends, gradients ETC... kicking in....

I'd love to see the svg original of this .... any chance of a copy ?? I could try to figure out how you do these !!! ... managing all the objects without them sliding all over the place ..

I love how you use untidy shapes to create your pictures. It very unique. Most peoples vector artwork have a mathematical precision to them.

Thanks. From what I've tried I find that the eye tends to merge the messy stuff together quite well, I aim for it to look pretty photographic from across the room when i have it full size on screen. Should play around at more precise stuff again really, havent tried since we got blur.

I like it imprecise, and like you say, it looks perfect from a distance.
