Before the events of the season 2 of Boku No Hero Academia. Stain found himself in front of a hero. The hero had wounds all over his body, being unable to defend the Hero Killer, accepting his tragic fate, but before Stain could kill him, someone shouted from behind him. Shouting at him to stop.

That someone was Mumen Rider, who had arrived to try to stop Stain.

Stain did not recognize him at first, but after hearing the hero's name spoken by the hero himself, Stain recognized him as the hero who had confronted the Deep Sea King a little over a month ago.

Stain, contrary to what might be expected of him, asked Mumen Rider to leave, that he had no intention of harming him. However, Mumen Rider refused to leave, no matter how many times the Hero Killer asked him to leave. Those requests turned into threats, but even that didn't make Mumen Rider back down. Even Stain had managed to get some of Mumen Rider's blood, immobilizing him with his Quirk, but even that didn't stop Mumen Rider, who was willing to stop and arrest Stain, trying to get up from the ground with all his willpower, leaving the Hero Killer speechless.
