In a village hidden among the mountains located in Vale, every night everyone can hear a song played by an ocarina. The song brings the villagers a lot of tranquility, because they know that the one who is playing is a hero who saved them when all seemed lost.

Some time ago, a horde of Grimm attacked the town and began to kill many of the inhabitants. When it seemed the end of the small town, a man with a sword appeared and attacked the Grimm only using his sword, managing to eliminate them, showing great skill and speed with his sword.

That man named Tapion was thanked by the inhabitants, who asked him not to leave. Tapion, judging the situation, decided to accept, and as a gift, the inhabitants gave him an object that had belonged to a hunter who had died years ago to protect the same village. The object was an ocarina. Ocarina that made Tapion remember his past and how he had been locked up to prevent the demon Hildegarn to be free and cause destruction. But he no longer had that concern. Hildegarn had finally been defeated and he was free to do as he pleased. He wandered the world until he came to this small village that needed a hero.

Tapion played that song as a way to scare away the Grimm, who seemed to be affected by the song. Even if his original ocarina had been destroyed, the power of the song remained. That song had the ability to destroy and repel all evil from the place where it was played.

What Tapion "didn't know" was that he was not alone that night. Behind him was a man who stopped his flight when he heard that song and watched as the Grimm in the area escaped or disintegrated.
