Edited in photoshop from a dull and grey picture (edit: if someone want a tutorial, I might put one up, but YOU WILL HAVE TO ASK!).

Very nice shot there, as you mentioned the focus is accurate and at the right place, congrats. I also like how you've chosen a slightly cloudy sky as a background, it avoids the background being plain blue and give texture and content to the shot while giving it also a bit of context

I think what draws me to it is the tattered appearanceof the petals. It looks as if it has come through the brambles and is now standing triumphant, a little worse for wear, but triumphant none the less.

What do you mean? Proud is the name of the picture, because I think the flower looks proud. Allthough, i understand it can be mixed with my emotions on it as well, reading the description. Allthough, what I am most proud of about this piece is how many favs it has gotten.
