thank you so much...if i have my choice, i will never want them to leave, but she feels it's time and i agree with her. i support my kids' decisions and they always know i am here for them no matter what!
i have girl, boy and boy. they are all super awesome human beings, kind, responsible, loving and caring. i am truly blessed to have such wonderful kids.
as far as food, no worries, she comes back for mom's frozen homemade food (like pot stickers, i made 80 for her the other day).
may i ask? so you are Japanese, i wonder do you speak Japanese?

I am half japanese and I am trying (poorly) to learn to speak it, self teaching. my father lives in japan and I have not seen him since 7 years old I write to him now and we are so alike - but his time away has lost his english so I would love to speak to him in japanese and to my aunts as well. its not hard to learn I just have no one to practice with and not alot of time lately.
I would come home for that for sure. you sound like a good mom!

i am from Taiwan originally, my ex is mostly German, mixed with Scottish and French. they do not speak any Mandarin at all. i try to be a good mom for my kids but i have my faults and made mistakes along the way, but all in all, i think i did an okay job on my own raising these 3 kids. my philosophy on this topic is a simple one, i wanted them, so my only duty for my want is to do the best job i know how...there are so many awful parents out there who does not take care their children, always makes me sad to hear stories like that...

oh so your children are like me, they are half asian and caucasian too. well you are right - children do not ask to be born, when you have them you are taking responsibility to do the best you can, but not everyone does it.

yes they are like you, my youngest child looks entirely like a white dude, so when people find out he is Chinese, they all wanted to faint...
my kids were entirely brought up by me, their moral teachings and their beliefs are all based upon what i taught them, so they do not see themselves as 1/2 Caucasian at all

sometimes the asian side doesnt come out very much. most people cannot tell I am even partly japanese and esp. not half. but when I was a baby I looked 100% its funny how that happens.
