This is my original black and white artwork to the Incredible Hulk Annual 2005 (UK)..... before Jason worked his magic and put colours on it. This piece was inspired by the beautiful artwork of Sal Buscema, who in my eyes drew the definite version of the Hulk.... specifically Sal's work when inked by Ernie Chan.Related content

Sal Buscema's Hulk as inked by Ernie Chan was what made me become a fan of ol' greenskin. Your version is what I would love to see every month, as it's truly incredible.

Personally, I think your rendition of the Savage Hulk is one of the best ever in its own right. You capture the neanderthal nature of the character perfectly, and your ink work and bold lines are incredibly striking and dynamic. Love it!
