Of all the monsters in Godzilla's rogues gallery, I would say this guy is definitely the most Lovecraftian.

Love the way you captured the ominous red glow that was sometimes seen in Godzilla vs. Hedorah. That said, this sludgy beast is my favorite kaiju!

I don't like the other Hedorah. They are TOO flashy. I like this one. It FITS for the Monster's looks and its meaning.

Usually I am not one for dark illustrations. As in illustrations that use a lot of blacks and grays, but for this it really works damn well. I mean really really good. I'm a huge fan of the character and everything about him. It's a monster with a story. Albeit a very child like Eco like warning story, but a story none the less. The pastel water color like brushes you use are a nice touch to him. Fits the whole pollution like feel to him. And those eyes, those haunting eyes bring just the right amount of color. The tribute I did for him was a lot more colorful, did that little 70's vib for him lol. But man, he looks good dressed in black. Awesome job man.

I'm too a huge fan of Hedorah, and this is one of the most beautiful fan illustrations I've seen based off him. It really captures the feel of the climactic battle on Mt. Fuji. And while on the matter, my own take on Hedorah:Β enshohma.deviantart.com/art/Heβ¦
