thank you so much my friend! I wanted to address creation myths with this piece, mainly the ones that corroborate each other.
a lot of them include our race being created by reptilian beings from another world or dimension.....

he was taller than normal men, and i felt cold energy coming off him. he sensed me sensing him and turned to look at me, and when he did his pupils were slits like cats eyes! very thin lines for pupils! as i saw this i felt the whole of his image, in my third eye i could see a man covered in green scales and with white belly/chin, looked very much like this guy in my drawing. tall... and very odd, cold feeling energy. but i did not feel scared, just surprised that he wasnt a normal person!
now i know they are out there, and have found all the evidence i need to know they exist, and live among people all the time. they can look just like us but somtimes their faces or eyes go really weird.

Anyway you said "its just whether or not it will get me results" and I wondered, what do you mean by results here? Money, recognition, a chance to spread your believes?

That indeed sounds silly... I don't remember how I got to DA. I believe I just kept finding images on google that were from DA and at some point decided to explore it or something.
I looked around for a while first and I think that I first made an account for the practical reasons of being able to comment and fave, for I was a bit uncertain whether or not I wanted to put my stuffies on at first.
Mmm, I guess if you are really great and are willing to spend a lot of time on networking and everything on DA, that it could be a really great place to get yourself started as a pro-artist.. However, like it would in real life, I do think it would take a lot of time and effort.

Well it's not only about being good. There are tons of unnoticed artists out here that barely have any views. I really think networking and being active is an important part of the puzzle too.

yeah, i have learnt that the online community can be fickle at best. i guess i should have expected as much, but i'm a buddhistic pagan that grew up in a christianised family out in the british countryside- i didnt really get the world lol.
now i just try to be myself and be truthful, hope i can help a few people out there. i have grown to enjoy spending 2-3 hours a day typing away to all my lovely friends from around the world. now i have the perfect platform from which to give out my unique view of the world to...
and also a great worldwide network to glean world events from. the mainstream news outlets cant be trusted.

Oh well, the online community can be great, just as long as you carefully select the people you mingle with. Actually just like in real life, I guess. Staying away from places, such as forums, where every fool just bluntly throws out their unthoughtful thoughts also helps.
"...but i'm a buddhistic pagan that grew up in a christianised family out in the british countryside- i didnt really get the world lol."
That sure was pretty funny to read. Yet I've got to admit, I'm someone who doesn't feel much for spiritual stuff that grew up in a family that is strictly atheistic on the one hand and vaguely christian on the other out in a small town in The Netherlands, and I still have a hard time getting how certain things in this world could possibly be.
Also, I think you would probably like the band Omnia. Especially the songs 'I Don't Speak Human' and 'Free' come to my mind as fitting with what you just said.
Mmm,well I don't think I could still spend 2 to 3 hours a day having serious conversation with many different people anymore. Sure I like interacting with people on DA, but that's mostly superficial. And in real life I tend to keep my circle small and keep to myself. There are some people at my school and at my theatre group that I get along with, but I think I only have a very deep and intense relationship with my lover... I just don't have very high social needs and it would be too exhausting and timeconsuming to me to keep up many dear relationships. *shrugs* People just tend to be trouble you know.
And now about the mainstream news... I don't really like it myself either. I wouldn't directly say that they lie, but they do seem limited/incomplete and most of the time I just get frustrated and angry consuming the news they give me. Almost every time I consume the news stuff I get the feeling the world is even more unreasonable, illogical, pathetic, hypocrite, incomprehensible and stupid as I thought it was before.

am now listening to omnia...
My christian ties didnt leave the effect the christians had hoped...
i was born a seer, so i cant agree with their ideas.
i have seen good ghosts, who only want to be near life. i have seen haunting ghosts, that hated everything. what of them? they are in neither heaven nor hell.
but the thing that made me what i am now what dying on the operating table. i have seen the other side. i know this life is just like a holiday for the soul... a holiday of action, misery and hard work. and when we leave the body, none of it matters anymore...
its a test, living on this ball we call earth.
i kinda took it as a responsibility upon myself to spread messages of love, peace and unity for mankind.. listening to "free" right now, and this is my message too, this is what i tell people every day.
i think they need to be reminded of how wonderful they all are, no matter how bad life may seem to them.. at least they know there is that weird english dude being upbeat and spreading buddhistic ideals.
we are free to think our own way, we are alive and that is the beauty of life!
and the news...well, i'll leave that one alone for now . . .

Pfff, I've looked at this comment over and over again without replying it.
For I found it very hard to construct a decent reply to this. You see the problem is that I respect you and don't want to offend you, but that the things you speak about now are things I don't believe in.
I mean, I don't believe in ghosts or afterlife, however I do believe that everybody should believe in what feels right for them.
And now for the second part of your comment, I come to agree with you a great deal again.
The message of love, peace, freedom of thought and acceptance of each others differences (I prefer putting it that way rather than unity for mankind, although I do think we mean the same) is a good one to spread. And well, yes, I think this is very much the message of Omnia too.
Yet I then again I do doubt what you say about how wonderful people are and everything... For my view on most of humanity is actually not that great, as in most people do not seem to care or even think about those things that I think as right, do not seem to grasp that which I think makes one a decent human being... Makes one worthy of our self-proclaimed title of being the highest of creatures on this planet. Yet, I doubt if they can help it, as there are probably many things in a human's brain to prevent this school of thought we seem to somewhat share (in fact it's probably that those things malfunction a bit in our brains, causing us to think the way we do), and therefore and due to my own value of acceptance of differences, I tend to let them be. As in, at most I will show them what I think is the sense of my view, yet won't push them to take it as their truth too.
Pfew, now I hope everything comes across as I meant it. Getting philosophical thoughts written down exactly right is hard, so I guess it's therefore that most philosophical books are written in such complicated language. Hah.

lol im not offended. i have been told by unbelievers i should be locked up and allsorts over the years. fact is though, they are there whether we believe in them or not not that you have to, its your choice and your life maybe hasnt given you the evidence mine has. thats cool, and you represent yourself very well. i would not be offended by such a well thought out response. some people just think saying "no, you're wrong" over and over makes them right.
and as for people:
i do actually agree with you. mankind right now looks kinda like a great ape with rabies, wandering aimlessly around the jungle throwing its weight about, while drooling and gibbering incoherently to itself.
however.
im in touch with great sources of information, as in the spirit realm there is no time. from out there ou can look back and see earth as it will be, as it has been. its not easy but it works if you believe and try your hardest.
the shamans of old knew this and kept their people alive for generations doing so
but i meant the people like us when i said mankind is becoming great. look at your last comment, look at how well you represent yourself in the face of something you think to be fantasy. you hold yourself well and didnt once c;laim that you were right and i am wrong; you are proof that mankind i becoming awesome. i am proof. i have met many others here on the internet that are worth more than their weight in gold. my partner is also proof.
everything came across exactly as you intended, philosophical debating and sharing is difficult at the best of times.
most philosophy books are written with longer words because they dont want chavs and idiots wondering what its all about... when you get right down to it, like.
namaste!

Telling someone he or she needs to be locked up in order for believing in ghosts seems a bit... as if people are overexaggerating matters. At least, as I can judge now, for of course if it gets in the way of someone's functioning in daily life and that person is becoming a serious thread to him- or herself or others, it might be a good idea, and since I do not know you in real life I couldn't possibly tell if that would be the case. Yet, I think not.
And well, I don't think there's much of a point in saying you are wrong and making a big drama out of the matter. I mean, it seems that you believe in them because you have seen/experienced them, and I do not believe in them because I have not. Outside of that I don't think there would be any 'evidence' to support either of our sides, and therefore I don't think it would be of any use to make a fierce argument out of it.
Also I do agree with you up until the level of that you must have experienced something. Yet it is the origin of that something that I question. You and other believers point to ghosts and other supernatural things as an explanation/source and I suspect that it might be one's mind doing something odd/interesting and creating a powerful illustion. Yet then again that is also just a suspicion, and the theory isn't flawless for it still fails to account for those curious situations where it seems that people gain knowledge, from ghosts they say, that they couldn't possibly just know.
As for the second bit: You sound like a vampire from one of the Vampire Chronicles As in I've read plenty of pages in the VC that held content similar to what you are saying about makind moving towards times of peace and love and about the spirit realm.
Also thank you for the kind words. I hope you are right about mankind and that people 'like us' will become greater in numbers. I hope that in let's say 40 years I will look back at this conversation and think about how I am seeing the signs of that which you were claiming here being right.
However, as it is also part of me to be a sceptic, I can't help but doubt it. I mean, if you would be right those ideas we have that lead us to 'be great' need to be things that can spread just on their own as ideas... However what if it is the case, and I think it is likely to be partially, that we think those ideas because of the how our brains work, because of the genes we have? What if you are only capable of thinking in such ways when you have such a brain/genes? Then we aren't likely to get anywhere, unless we gather all the 'good' people and create a breeding-factory for them, or well in less ridiculous words the 'good' people need to get a lot of kids... More than the 'not good' people, while they are greater in numbers.... and also I don't think I'll be part of it.
Meh, I hope you are right and I am wrong, I really do.
[Some parts of this comment made me feel uneasy. It felt as if for the sake of the argument I had to place myself in a high position.... And well, I really do love myself, but it feels better to me to be humble.]

Once again thank you for the kind words.
Anyway, I am starting to wonder, have you ever tried your hand at writing? For I think that with the supernatural things you believe in, you could make up great plotlines for novels or something if you'd bend stuff around a bit.
Although, maybe not, for it might seem strange to you. Mmm...
