Thank you but she has it as a duster so its a must! yeah the ending of batb is sadly quite rushed in animation, but utterly amazing non the less!

You do have a point there, especially when the Feather Duster in the ending, barring possibly the eyes and certainly the hat, looks absolutely nothing like her feather duster form. Funny thing is, there was a concept artwork of her human form that actually seemed to carry several similarities to her feather duster form here: img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20…

The final version of the Feather Duster's (I know, I know, she's called Babette, but she has four names at this point: Fifi for the original film [sort of, it was her identified name in Mrs. Potts' personality game] and Belle's Magical World; Babette in House of Mouse and the broadway musical, Marie in the Disney Comics serial New Adventures of Beauty and the Beast, and Plumette in the upcoming live action remake, so it's a bit easier to just call her by her alternate form rather than by her real name due to having four alternate "real" names as it is.) human form looked more like they just reused Vanessa's base model, gave her a more ample chest than before, and effectively gave her a haircut (oh, and changed the eye color from violet to blue).

Honestly, aside from the mole, there were also several other differences between her human form and her animate inanimate object form: For starters, her eyes were a lot smaller than her mouth/lips (which looked a bit more like Kefka Palazzo's lips  from the Dissidia subseries of Final Fantasy in her featherduster form), while in her human form, it's more of the opposite, her eyes are larger than her mouth/lips. I think the final version of her human form's the only one of the servants with on-screen human forms (plus Beast/Prince Adam) that looked radically different from their alternate cursed forms (Beast has his eyes that stayed the same, that and arguably his haircolor; Cogsworth had a similar outfit and moustache to his clock form, Lumiere had his long nose and more golden colors, Mrs. Potts had similar facial features to her teapot form, and Chip had a chip in his tooth similar to his teacup form having a chipped frame. Other than clothing, the Feather duster has nothing in common with her other form).

Actually, come to think of it, I think the featherduster maid had blue eyes in the movie instead of brown eyes like in the drawing, unless that was also an animation mistake in the film as well?

It's a strange one isn't it? hehe I always thought she had brown eyes, maybe because I drew this when the much inferior dvd was available. I guess I always called her Babette due to my adoration of the Broadway show, plus my friend Faith did too Looking at a screen cap It does seem she had brown eyes, see here  for example. I was intending to create a more 'designed' Feather duster, using elements from the film and my own. Thanks for the wonderful reply!

Actually, the triplets may either have the same level of beauty as her, if not potentially rival her both one on one and altogether. That being said, we can definitely agree on her exceeding Belle's beauty in any case (that's frankly one of the flaws of the movie, really. Belle's supposed to be the most beautiful woman in her village, yet we've got those three blonde triplets who far exceed her in terms of at least physical beauty, maybe even internal beauty due to their not being demonstrated to possess any flaws detrimental to inner beauty at all? Not to mention the maid, who at least had the excuse of being a featherduster for most of the film? It sort of cheapens the message, really, when Belle's basically a shrinking violet in comparison and her being "most beautiful" is if anything more of an inferred attribute).

She's also credited as Marie in New Adventures of Disney's Beauty and the Beast (that serial by Disney Comics back before it filed for bankruptcy taking place before the film.). I wonder if that means Lumiere is going with three feather dusters. After all, we do know he's the type to fondle two at once thanks to Issue 7 of the Marvel Comics line.
