Catweazle01, if I can set aside some time I will experiment with some other backgrounds and show you the results. I realize art is very subjective and what one person loves another one may hate.

I know this background. It's an IBL from Reality, but it seems not to work correct with the figures. It's too mealy

Too mealy? I thought it gave it a touch of realism, plus I liked the kind of faded not too bright colors of the IBL image since it gives it a hazy almost moist feel in the air, similar to when there is a lot of humidity in the environment. I suppose I could have blurred the picture for a camera FOV but the very cool palette already allowed the figures to stand out.

i am sure the pic would be look more real when the background-colors are set correct. Is this rendered in Lux?

You can use the background in whatever way you want, it is just a picture. I decided to use it in 3Delight and I knew it was a Reality IBL image. I happen to like how the picture works, otherwise I wouldn't have put it as the first picture in my profile. DAZ liked it too, they have turned down promos before and this one was accepted. But that's ok everyone is entitled to his opinion.
