Description a concept of a character from Indian epic-"Mahabharata", Shakuni- the treacherous advisor of the kauravas, he was famous for his cheating ways and known as the lord of dice;he was a master at "chausar", the most ancient form of board game from where the game of chess originated.

I wanted him to have more than the usual dices, and even have variety of them, just as a precursor of his skills. He might have been proficient at black magic too!!

shakuni as a black magician... quite a unique concept. he's been called so in the epic, but usually not depicted as such. wonderful painting.

I believe this is your best one so far. I especially love the light on the hands of the character. This character looks very evil and powerful.

yes! ....i do now!!... but this started out more as a doodle on a roough paper till i decided to color it!!..thanks for liking it
