Yup, I use Photoshop, and it does wonders hahhaa, although I'm not very skilled at it yet.
I don't remember exactly what I did, but usually I play with the curves, to bring emphasis and change some colours. I also play with brightness and contrast, as well as the saturation/colour balance features. ^^
