I could paint as fast and have the painting
come out like his
I painted this for my mom,she actually
re-did a whole room around it

So true,there always seem to be a focal point which everything else in the room is an accessory to,either complimenting or contrasting with for effect.

Your oils are truly astounding!
They're just so strong and they remind me of the works of the artists who came out to the west and painted such images before it got settled and such.
I would love to see more of these oils if you still love painting them.

In fact just seeing these actually give me the desire to go and paint.

I still love painting in oils,I don't
do as much work in oils when the weather
is too cold to open the windows.
Spring isn't too far off

wow. almost unbelievable.

you mind me asking how long it took? and how big is it?

I tried my hand at oil once and failed miserably. I am far to used to watercolour. i can't get the hang of thick layers that never dry...

great work though.

Thank you so much.It's 16 x20.It took about two and a half hours to paint.I like working with oils because it's flexible.If I don't like the way something looks, I can still move the paint.
You have some awesome animals in your gallery.Great detail.
