Description Sorry for the edgy vent art but I've been feeling rather crummy lately so watch me ramble

Just a friendly reminder that being "okay" is one the hardest most simplest things for person to try and experience. It's not a constant state, a lot of the time it can be really hard to feel okay. Sometimes its friends or family, sometimes its just feelings that wash over you that you have no control over. No one is always okay, but we all can strive to feel okay even when it feels hopeless. Regardless of where you're at in life things change for the better or worse can't get lucky all the time. Though I can't stress enough that its okay to not feel alright this isn't always a fast process. try to think that its these darker moments in our lives that let us truly enjoy the fleeting breaths of air we are given. Even if its fleeting one day you will find firm footing be it with the help of others, help of a professional, or through yourself.

Some oddly tips on working to be okay as expertly displayed on the drawings above

1. Be okay with yourself
You need to come to term with your flaws, you can't let them rule you. We all kinda suck annnd that's okay. this isn't me saying you shouldn't try to improve yourself. Growth is important and you should always try to work on making yourself less sucky. BUT know mary sues are disliked for a reason, being flawless isn't a thing. Even now I'm being preachy though I'm trying to send a kinda positive message. Regardless you aren't going to be flawless and that's okay! the "I'm only human" line doesn't exist just to sound cool. Flaws just let you have character development annnd who doesn't love themselves some character development

2. Be okay with others
Theres a line I use a lot "forgive but don't forget" you won't feel okay by hating others. We can all be petty pieces of curdled yoghurt sometimes, we get salty, we can be wronged, we can be hurt. This isn't me saying forgive terrible people or things, its more accept it and move forward or try to fix it. You can always be a little salty, you can and should use what you've experienced before to help define your choices for the future. I find Its good to take a moment to measure how much that person's actions have affected your life, is it worth holding onto, an what are the risks of forgiving them/talking to them?

okay okay thank you for reading that mess
