I used pastels for the background.
note *Decarabia69 mentioned I neglected to mention the media I used in my last submission. Since I've never mentioned the media I used in my artist's comments, I want to clear that point- for all the traditional drawings in my gallery I used pencils / colored pencil. For now on, if I use a different media I will mention it

An absolutely stunning piece of art.
I never would've guessed that it wasn't all done in pastel, even for you this looks incredibly soft- too soft to be done in pencil- but it was! Which in itself is pretty amazing because it seems so soft, like it's been painted or such. I really, really love the detail and depth to the eyes- they are fantastic!
The only slight point I notice is that the face seems to be a bit thin, but it's very slight, I hardly notice it when I'm absorbing the beautiful colours!

You're most certainly welcome, m'dear!
It could be, now that you mention it. It's just generally for some reason the face seems smaller and thinner. Could be the breed, I know some breeds are longer/smaller/thinner and so on. It's not an overly large point and doesn't detract from the piece at all, in fact, it might even add "Aww!" to it. :3

That's the cutest little kitten! The bright white is so strong, it's almost hard to look at! But those eyes draw you in. Such depth and color! The background is great, blends nicely with the eyes.
