Description
For the WCFC contest. [link]The reason I drew her with wings was to insinuate what Hollyleaf has gone through. The wings almost symbolize her breaking point or death. The expression on her face shows the ambiguity and apprehension she's gone through. Especially when she found out Leafpool was her mother. I also feel like the wings are there to symbolize her death; and how she died saving Ivypool.. or Dovewing ._. It also represents her beauty and innocence, but hiding her devil-ish scheme under her wings.

Misty, this is 1000% better than the last two Hollyleaf drawings you've made so far! This one has better qualities, and new appealing ones not seen in the previous drawings! The anatomy is much clearer, and more accurate. I love how you added some fluffiness to her, and it gives her a slight innocent look, while not making her look like a kit. The whiskers, and the tuft of fur on the head give her a wise, knowing, and mature look. What I also really find impressive is that you toned down the noseblush trademark you manage to squeeze into your drawings, while still having it add to the emotion plastered onto Holly's face. Her overall posture dawns on me as a form of 'Being strong for someone else' kind of look, and the wings also help her look like a guardian angel sent down to protect her Clan. Whoa, I just noticed the faint 'Hollyleaf' etched into the drawing. It adds a mystic glow to it, similar to the dark green grass that matches her eyes, and the darkening star-pelted sky. Wonderful job, Misty.
