No problem! I was just trying to explain how awesome that piece was, even though I don't know much about the category (digital). I'm glad you approve! Have a nice day!

It is hard for me to write a critique, because I love the work you do so much! But, you asked, so here it goes!
I would first like to say, that I really appreciate the style you painted this with, It really is lovely - the blue is just striking! Maybe a bit much with all the white, but we will get to that...
You say you are experimenting with the sky and clouds, and it would be far too unfair to critique you on what I "think" a cloud should look like, as I feel clouds have always been this interpretive element to art. That being said the style that you used, worked well for your theme. I would suggest you try adding in slight yellow hues to shaded areas of the clouds, just to break up the harsh white against the vibrant blue.
The reflection is very calm, as in no ripples in the water, you could add one or two here or there just by selecting certain areas of the water and distorting them and then adding darker blue for the ripple edges.
The only thing I see as "slightly off" in this, is the horizon. Maybe just a very thin shimmering line to separate water from sky...Then again, that is my personal opinion.
I still really love this, you have achieved a very calm but bright emotion that lets the viewer just sit back and feel relaxed, very much like day-dreaming or having "Soaring Hopes" and that to me is beautiful art.
So a job very well done e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>

Its so pretty! Reminds me of the tokyo ghoul opening.
But the clouds are really smushed together and Β a lot of white lines from the clouds, i also cant tell if the bottom is supposed to be water so maybe more of a reflection kinda look and a thin line to separate it but it is beautiful!! I wish i could do this

lovely painting but wouldn't there be ripples on the water if there was enough wind to fly a kite just a observation ^^
