Summary :
Efflamm was a human who shared a deep friendship with Asgore and Toriel and was at the head of the human section of the royal guard.
She liked dearly her sibling Aster who she grew up with and helped him a lot in his druidic experiences or in looking after his very young brothers Sans and Papyrus. That why she didn't hesitate for a second to share her soul with her 3 skeletons sibling when they fell deadly ill, saving them from certain death.
Efflamm was not yet well recovered when invaders launched an unprecedented war. She fought valiantly against her enemies, saved a lot of life. But her own soldiers betrayed her. She died at the end of the war, burnt alive.
Then she "come back to life" under this skeletal form when Sans and Papyrus died during a genocidal route in her AU (the reset doesn't exist in it), their monsters soul joined hers as well as that of Aster. Their ghosts are with her permanently although no one else can see them unless they want to.
Personality :
Efflamm is a calm mind, especially because of her power. She is a bit wild at first, it takes a little time to get used to the people around her, preferring to observe and listen rather than speak. She enjoys the company of others as long as they are not human (children don't bother her), but has difficulty trusting. She has a deep voice and some rough manners making her mistaken for a man, which doesn't bother her and she won't try to correct the error.
She is pyrophobic.
She loves to play Celtic harp and violin.
Abilities :
Efflamm is a warrior and knows perfectly how to use different types of weapons but her body is a bit frail since her resurrection.
She has some powers from her brothers: the shortcut from Sans, the blue magic from Papyrus, and the magicals hands from Aster.
She prefers to use their magic rather than her "natural" power which is wild and tend to disobey.
She has control on energies :
- Can see or sense the energies flow of all kinds.
- Can shape the energy she uses (for create a scyth or strings, and others various shape)
- Can give/strengthen/increase and amplify the powers of others drastically.
- Can take on other for food/strengthen herself, but she prefers to "feed" on the world's energy lines than on people (it's the more vicious side of her power and it asks her for a will in hardened steel so as not to give in to the temptation to always take more).
AU Synopsis :
In Ancient Time, at the place where the earth threw itself into the sea, monsters and humans lived in harmony. Together they had built a great radiant city, brimming with life and magic which they named Kêr-Is. But after centuries of peace, the shadow of war threatened them. Coming from beyond the horizon, invaders jealous of their prosperity and their knowledge attacked them, sowing death and hatred. After years of a long and bloody confrontation, the armies of Kêr-Is were defeated. The monsters were gathered in the city of Kêr-Is and a powerful magic barrier was erected around it to enclose them, making them invisible and intangible outside. The last humans still loyal to the monsters were chased and executed.
It is said that one day a human opened the doors of the city, condemning it and its inhabitants to be definitively engulfed by the ocean.
