Didn't quite know where to put this, so since it has me in it and kind of features my psyche, it got placed in portraits. Don't get mad at me!

This is a pencil drawing of myself and Dream of the Endless, a.k.a. Morpheus, a.k.a. Sandman, from Neil Gaiman's The Sandman graphic novels. This works on two levels. You see, for one, Dream in incredibly hot, and just perfection in my eyes. What better position to be than in his arms, his midnight eyes gazing into mine? But the other level it works is that lately I feel that all I really care for are my dreams, my fantasies, that nothing is real anymore. And so I've fallen in love with a humanoid depiction of an idea as well as the idea in itself. So I embrace my dreams as I would embrace Dream. I'm sure we've all been here before. At least, I hope I'm not the only one...
The picture is meant to be murky, like when you're just on the edge of the first stage of sleep and going into REM. Where you can kind of see things but nothing really makes much sense, save for a few distracting shapes. This is the place where I live much of the time.
