Betty Ross is the daughter of General Thaddeus "ThunderBolt" Ross and Ex~Wife of Bruce Banner. Resurrected by her own father with the aid of MODOK and the Leader as the Red She Hulk after her death by blood poisoning at the hands of the Abomination.
The shy and sensitive Betty had a traumatic and devastating life before her death, after her resurrection she has returned as a withdrawn and psychotic individual though she rarely assumes her human form. Quiet and reserved Betty completely disappears when she becomes SheRulk and is replaced by a loud hard drinking brute. As SheRulk she is dangerous and unpredictable and prone to bouts of irrational hostility. She has successfully hid her bipolar tendencies from other super heroes up to this point, mostly. Here she is seen "Upholding the Law."
