For the time of judgment has come, it is he.. Penance!..yes fancy introduction for the superboss from Final Fantasy X (Only in the International version though)
Very annoying foe too, with his HP going beyond 10 million, and his arms distracting you from the main body all the time, and the fact that you need to beat all the dark aeons to get to him.
Oh and this would be his second form, not much of a difference with his first shape though..
...
I wonder if I should make a habit out of drawing FF bosses

Fighting Penance himself is relatively simple. It's preparing for him that's the complicated part. Mostly filling up the Sphere Grid, getting awesome armor, getting sufficient items, and getting the Celestial Weapons.
As long as the arms don't get a chance to act, it's just a matter of surviving Obliteration and Immolation, then recovering from them without missing a beat. All you have to do is use Quick Hit and Overdrives over and over and over, and eventually you will win.

his HP is 12 million.....so yeah he is a hard boss and his arms are a true pain ,but how did you beat him ? I made it simple and used Yojimbo.....

I know a quicklier way to defeat him. My brother told me that you could use Yojimbo's ultimate attack on him. All you have to do is to pay $1000000 to Yojimbo and he'll do that attack.
Its that simple.

well I did use Yojinbo...wanted to kill him the normal way but it freaked me out that he used only a littel pimp slap to kill of my charackters ^^

the classic way, auto-potions, uber defense, and lots and lots of quick hitting
