The colors work well togeather, don't know if you ment too or not but the eyes and the green background go well togeather. The black shirt I usually dont think would go well, however it does not take away from the over all photo, and adds more contrast to the arms. Added on to that I love how the hands slowly lead up to the eyes and make a 'frame' in a sence with the whole face really making sure the person knows what the focus should be.
Somthing with the over all sematary in the photo seems off, Might be that everything other than the head is just slightly off balance. (where the hair breaks, where the hands come togeather, and at the center of where the tape is[least i think its tape])
The way the eyes have black eyeliner I think works here, but only because of the black shirt, and tape, if those were not there, then I dont think I would like it as much, unless you were trying to make them stand out, and even then I think you could find a better way to do that, so I hope that isn't an all the time kind of thing for you.

lol i almost always shoot people with black on. it is probably one of the most flattering colors on people and it does go with everything. i feel like you add a whole new definition to the words nit-picking. yes you see good and bad but half of the bad things are barely worth mentioning. can't a shot just be simply good? sometimes things can be perfect in their imperfection.

Yeah, I know alot of people tell me that. Though I want to ask you somthing, do you really want people to just say somthing like "good photo" or "i like it"?
Alot of what I said might just be small, but alot of people can take a photo, its the little things that would take a photo from being 'good' to being 'great' or somthing along those lines. If I would just say 'hey I like it" how much of that is going to help you relize what you did right, wrong, or whatever?
Things can be perfect in their own imperfections yes, but I really dont think that there is any one perfect work of art, there is always somthing to say could have been better, or worked on a bit more. The simple fact that I am going in to detail should tell you that your photo is very well done, im just simply trying to help you relize why I think that it is that good, and things to help you be more consistent and possibly make better photos out of it.

The photo is good and the girl has such a cute face, the only drawback in my opinion, is the black drawing on her lips.
Otherwise, this is a very cute photo.

really? i think the black paint on her lips adds to the oddness and instead of making this a normal shot it makes you wonder why its there.
