**update: adjusted details, sometimes uploading helps me to see what I can improve
Instead of using gray-scale first I just painted straight with color. I found it difficult to go from gray-scale to color, so to find the tonal values I simply had a black layer set to 'color' over the image.
This is how I draw elves, I'm very picky with how elves look, haha. Based the coloring on my sister's Grey Warden, Uri (who is a male, city elf).
I want to improve my color gradients, focus on detail, and readability!
