I took summer classes for oil paint, which I really like a lot. I dont know man, acrylic is just... Its like...
Like, watercolor drys fast and is real transparent, and then oils dry super slow and are super thick, and acrylics... are like, this weird place in the middle that gives me nightmares. The only times I've ever painted with em, I DIED. Haha, no not really.
Also... NO NOT YOU ARE IMAGINING THINGS I DO NOT LIVE IN HER ATTIC CRAZY

Ugh, oils just seem so nasty and gross to me. Like they'd make a mess no matter what you do. With acrylic, it's water soluble so you can treat them like watercolors or go straight from the tube and use them like oils, you can also add lots of interesting things to them to get cool textures and stuff.
lol i haven't really USED them in the longest time, I've been in watercolor mode ever since those classes
