Description My twist on the prompt: Gentle Giant

Since it's spooky, Halloween, month. I had to add a horror twist to this piece. Read below to see for yourself~

In one of my worlds, there is a place called the "Winding Roads"

The Winding Roads is a dark forest, with paths that twist and bend throughout it, the forest spans a quarter of the planet. Many people, humanoids, shapeshifters, so on and so forth, get lost in these woods. Especially the ones who enter it alone, it's a maze of intertwining, seemingly endless paths, and a dark fog that messes with your senses if you breath it in.

There are many evil and twisted creatures who reside in these woods. One of them is featured above, The Dragon.

He seeks out any unfortunate lost children, he can sense their fear and hear their cries. No matter where he is in the woods. Once he finds the lost child/children, he gently touches their skin with his claws and it's game over for any child he touches. He has a hypnotic poison in his claws, that on touch, the children fall into a *seemingly* mindless state. They stop their crying and will blindly follow the dragon. He brings them back to his den.

Where he proceeds to devour them, stripping the flesh from their little bones slowly, nothing goes to waste with him, he even crunches down on their bones afterwards, eating all of that too. The kids can not cry out or fight back, thanks to his poison. But they have all their senses about them, touch, smell, sound, etc... as they die.

Rarely are the children ever saved, since they are lost children, they are almost never found in time. Nothing remains of them at the end.

He does not go after lost teenagers or adults, he's known to avoid or flee from them, no one yet knows why. But if you're a kid lost in these woods with others, it's best to hold on tight to an adult or teenager. For if you let go, the forest will separate you and he will come for you...

The Dragon here was inspired by the old children's books in stories or libraries I would see as a kid, where the Dragon would have exaggerated features (Ex: enormous head, tiny wings)

As usual, please don't copy/trace/repost/use my artwork or characters, thank you~
