Description ... House for sale! Not haunted at all!

I love Halloween. It's possibly my favourite time of the year (or, as I'd call it, "The most wonderful time of the year.") It's not possible to just stand idly by and watch people come up with really cool Halloween related arts and crafts while I sit on my hands. No, no!

If you are the Trick-or-treating type, be careful out there while you are having fun. And watch out for that little rickety house at the end of the alley with the boarded-up windows, yes?

P.S.: Darnnit, I got too busy and completely missed the deadline for the Fan-art Mash-up event. Oh, well. I'll make sure it gets done anyway. It just means I won't have a shiny new badge to show for it, that's all. But for everyone out there who is waiting... I haven't forgotten yet!

Haha yeah
Oh ok, so it was kind of like a type of retail but still a sales job. Ok.
Ah ok, thats the kind of sales game I'm familiar with. Where your on the phone selling people a service, having to play games with them just to get them to make the right choice. Some how I can imagine you were not fond of that receptionist job lol.
My brother sold people mortgage refinancing, and cash advances. Loads of money, loads of stress, loads of alcohol hahaha.

Lol. Maybe! I can appreciate most kinds of liquor though. I am not huge on vodka though and I hate both gin and tequila lol. Love whiskey and rum though.
What rums have you tried? I know what you mean but i tend to avoid that. The "Desperation Rum" as I call it, that I buy is real bad, not sweet at all. I get the light rum. Mixed you get that rum flavor though, just lacking the sweetness (or additional sweetness depending on mixer) and all the horrible taste is covered up

Yay I is a smarts! I double checked to make sure I wasn't reading the values wrong or something haha.I was like "What is this, CJ being wrong? That can't be :/ " haha.
No clue a of yet.. all I know is I want some! I got lucky no werewolves attacked me! Lol, very true! Actually I jut learned of there being an old legend of a dog man of norther Michigan.. its a real thing sadly enough haha. So now we need silver bullets more than anything!

yeah I mean that makes sense, the animations style really stands out. The game play does not look very interesting but when you play it, you realize its a bit different than anything else, or at least just pretty unique. You like super hard games?
Oh god

OH I got a new friend hehehehehe. sta.sh/020yv7eyhsdm

Oh, man... your brother really got the short-end of the stick. Out of all the things I had to sell, I would -not- want to sell mortgages and cash advances. Now, some folks might argue people go to these services and these services don't need selling. But then again, after finding out that I need to sell a "how to pass your IELTS" course, yeah... sure. I guess you need to sell everything these days. As far as my receptionist job goes... no, I didn't like that. But selling stuff isn't the reason. It's because of the reverse racism I've got while on the job. You see, for some unknown reason, I speak with a faint (mighty faint) BBC-English accent. Heaven knows why, since I've never been to the bloody place. But when people called the place and listen to this voice, they weren't expecting a Chinese dude behind the desk. Boy, if looks can kill and disappointment can drown... I'd be dead a couple dozen-times over.

Vodka isn't my cup of tea, either. But then again, it's something folks around me seem to like, for some reason. I can't say why. Whiskey and cognac, on the other hand... yup. You can pile them in front of me and I won't complain. Bourbon... I don't know yet. That's one taste I haven't quite acquired yet.
My brother used to live in Grenada (and flying back to Canada usually means going through Trinidad and Tobago), so Caribbean rums like Applegate Estates were usually the ones I end up trying. Newfoundland, however, has it's own over-aged Demerara rum called "Screech". Let's just say... this thing is steeped in history and tastes like its name. Both all kinds of awful.

Now, now... C.J. can be wrong! Heck, even Wikipedia can be wrong, so how's a single person going to compete?  I've recently learned that a "silver bullet" is apparently the Lone Ranger's signature weapon. So I suppose there's some kind of rugged romance attached to silver bullets. But then again, there's something about using a "silver bullet" to solve all your troubles. So there's something to be said about that specific kind of bullets. Why? Heaven knows.

Let's just say... I don't actually have the time to play games all that much anymore. So... gameplay really doesn't enter my head anyway!
Now, that's a nice new friend! I hope we'll get better acquainted in the future!

Oh god this comment is getting "wall of text" level long
Well he made a shit ton of money at least.. however he seemed to blow it all >.< It was real stressful though so yeah, not the best. Lol, did you get commission at least? Not sure what your implying when you say "But then again, after finding out that I need to sell a "how to pass your IELTS" course, yeah... sure. I guess you need to sell everything these days" sorry man
Ah ok. Damn wtf. Where was this school at again? Pisses me off just hearing you had to deal with crap like that
Did not know you spoke with a slighttttttttttt British accent though lol. You may have to note me a short recording next note if thats cool I can do the same if your interested I speak with a Michigan accent if you know what that is like lol.

Good lol. Hmm that is odd. Well I guess I am an exception to that rule Haha oh god I forget about cognac! I like it too but it can get a bit sweet. I could drink whiskey all day long though.. well not really but you get what I mean That would make me sick no matter how much I like it Really? Bourbon is a type of whiskey. I find it smoother than say scotch, or even Canadian whiskey, though Canadian whisky is still amazing!
Ah ok damn. Your family gets around eh? Ah ok. Never had any of that lol. Sounds both interesting and terrifying at the same time. Lol. I think you have mentioned Screech though thinking about it. Just that name don't lend it to being good haha. I will have to try it some day to see how bad it is
Hey speaking of which have you had malort?

Lol, true, but considering all your smarts and book learning, I'm right stricken amazed I am! Uhhh by checking not Wikipedia?
Well that would be his signature ammunition, not weapon Maybe his calling card? When did you learn that, you just look it up? Yeah that is kinda odd lol.

Oh I know, very understandable. Its also understandable since unless you look into it, the gameplay seems boring.
You never said though, you like those kinds of super hard games?

I am so excited! I tried to shoot some pictures today outside but it was too late in the day and the sun was going down. That coupled with the clouds and getting used to this new fangled thing, I do not think I got any good pictures. Who cares though it was fun
You will for sure! I plan to shoot a new still life very soon with it

Haven't I said that I am the "Wall of Text" guy?     Now you see why!

Commission? Nah. I just get my pay as a receptionist, that's all. Answering phones, apparently, is a part of the job. The way I saw it, you study and you pass the test - that's the end of it. But I guess some folks out there are selling the "secret to passing the test". And it looks like multiple people are selling this golden ticket so people like me have to sell our brand to someone else. That's some disheartening stuff, for me, at least. So... yeah, I guess you -do- have to sell everything these days.
... recording text? I wouldn't know how to do that even if I wanted. How in the world does someone do that?

I'm not a big fan of Canadian Whiskey, for some reason. I guess the blends tend to be on the newer side and it doesn't sit well with my guts. But the older, aged taste of Scotch and Cognac tend to sit better with me. I guess it's all about personal taste, right? As far as Bourbon goes... yeah, technically it's a kind of whiskey. I just can't quite seem to find a good one her for some reason. I wouldn't mind trying a couple to see how much I like it.
School is usually the reason why the family travels. I did training in Newfoundland and my brother did medical school in Grenada. And both places happen to have distinctive rum... go figure. Screech is a rum that has been over-aged in whiskey barrels, so it tastes like the bastard child between a rum and a whiskey. The story goes that land-lubbers took swigs of this brew and start screechin', hence the name. But the truth of the matter is Newfoundland was once a trade route and a way-point between England and the West Indies colonies. A freakish storm once kept a shipment of rum stuck in Newfoundland for over a month. And by the time the rum finally made it to England... it turned Screech. I don't know how true either one of these stories are. But after tasting this stuff, I'd say both hold a grain of truth. And Malort? No, I'm afraid not. What is it?

... Usually, Wikipedia isn't where I start or stop searching. But since it tends to turn up early on in a list of searches, it's hard to avoid. It gets interesting when you realise Wiki is wrong, though...
Yeah, yeah... Lone Ranger's signature ammunition! Incidentally, I found out about that after reading a book about foreign bodies in people's... er... bodies. One guy pushed a bullet up his bum and lost it in there. The doctors were contemplating on the possibility that another physician told him to cure his constipation with a "Silver bullet" (which is a nickname for a Preparation H suppository in the medical field). And the conversation branched out to the usage of the word (and the actual ammunition).

I guess I like a challenging game. But I don't know the definition of "Super hard" games anymore. I haven't played in a long, long time. I've got too many things that keep me busy!

Nice! Definitely looking forward to see the photos taken by your new friend!

Haha exactly my point! Oh I knew why we had been talking a bit when you first said that

Oh god why would they even expect you to sell that shit!? Glad you are out of there Yeah, I can imagine. At least when my brother was working sales, he could stand by the product and got commission for it! Shit was he was selling mortgages he was saving peoples homes! That just sounds like hell. Glad your out of there
Oh I just meant record your voice, and send me a link in a note If your willing of coarse. If you want me to do the same I can I find it fun to see how people speak and just hear their voice

Aww that is too bad Bourbon does that to me. That is good those sit with you better at least Ah ok. Have you tried Makers Mark?
Ah ok fair enough! Still quite impressive though I must say. Plus you get to sound like a cliche by saying "Oh why I learned that in Grenada" that just sounds exotic and interesting when you say things like that
Ah ok haha. I want to try some some day!
Ah ok lol, I love silly stories like that Yeah, they always do seem to be based in reality some how!
Oh well its.. its malort... Lol. Jeppson's Malört is the one we have... its a brand of bäsk and it is disgusting. Its something you need to try once. You should give it a try but buy the smallest quantity you can. You won't want more.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeppson%…

Yeah for sure!
How do you mean it gets interesting when you realize Wiki is wrong?
Hehe had to sorry Ah hmm. Who is this Lone Ranger you refer to?
Oh fuck.. why would you do that??!! Haha. yeah I have heard that nickname before thinking about it.. how could you take that so literal?? Lol.

Fair point! Prolly not the best thing to jump into after not gaming for so long lol.. Alice on the other hand I am not one for them usually but I really loved Cup Head.

Thank you My most recent one is actually The Halloween still life, I hope you like it I am really loving that camera! I found out by accident that if I am in live view, and hit the "zoom" button that I would hit to zoom in on something in a photo I have already taken, it does that with the image the sensor is getting! So I can zoom in on what the camera is seeing so I can really accurately focus Its so bad ass I just about got a hard on when I found it out haha.
So again thanks

... nothing quite like an example to hit the message home.

In bigger cities (like Toronto, for example), there are multiple small language schools around. Some of them spend big money to put out advertisements, while others pay agents overseas to attract students. So there -is- competition in a field that I never knew existed. As the guy who picks up the phones, I was tasked with saying all the right things to people -would- consider us as the place to spend their money. So basically... yeah, I'm selling the school's "system"... while being paid as a receptionist. Another great reason why I got out of Dodge fast!
... the problem isn't recording my voice, it's that I don't know how to do it electronically so the voice file will save...

For some reason, my guts and my brain work the same way, we like old stuff. Even when it comes to wine, old-world wine seems to stay down a bit nicer than new world wines. But I do get to say, I don't drink wine much. (I should learn to how to say it like Dracula, actually...) And yes! Maker's Mark wasn't bad. But, hey... it's not Aberfeldy yet.
Honestly, never heard of this Jeppson's Malört. But if it is -that- bad... I gotta find a way to try it. I mean... Screech is bad enough. And unless we are drinking rubbing alcohol with food colouring, I can't imagine something being worse. Actually... wait a tick... I have a bottle of a Czech absinthe (complete with wormwood extract). That thing is 120-proof... and drinks like rubbing alcohol. You can't get worse than that!

Well, several years ago, there was an "official" article written by one of the senior members of DA regarding Dracula (part of a promotion for the "Dracula Untold" movie). I got into a "forum conversation" with some folks, including the author, regarding the factual basis of some of these claims. One of them eventually said to me "go check Wikipedia!" And my response was: "Yes, sir... I have already checked Wikipedia. But you -do- realize that it's not always correct, right?" I think the author wrote a half-*ssed "apology" that sounded more like "It's not my fault you people just read off of Wikipedia." But they didn't know that they were actually speaking to someone who presented a research project at a real conference regarding Bram Stoker and fictional vampires. So I listed off 10 "controversial" claims and listed the research and book reference for all of them. And the thread went quiet. You might call it a check-mate.

... The book is about 100 things found inside the human body where they shouldn't be found. One of them is the now notorious "You've got a friend in me" X ray: assets.nydailynews.com/polopol… I think that's a lot worse than a bullet, all things considered. I can get a bullet out relatively quick!

I do like that whole series of photos! I think the lighting effect looks great! There's a lot to love when it comes to that camera, that's for sure. And that's one hell of a cool feature. What a lucky find!

Ok, that is interesting. Yeah that is fucked up Yeah!
Oh.. you don't know how to record your voice? Well do you have a microphone? If so, you could download audacity and use that, or record with your phone. Then save it and upload to sta.sh? Audacity is easy enough to use

Haha, just means you have good taste How old of wine we talkin here? Say what like Dracula? Lol. I do not know the line
Aberfeldy?
That is prolly for the best I do not blame you for wanting to try it though haha. Its one of those things you have to try once haha oh I can imagine screech and malort are gonna be pretty equal in horrendousness lol. You know if I can get screech online or anything?
Oh god that sounds scary!

Oh the forum author you mean? Haha that is hysterical I hope I can achieve a great victory like that one day

Hahahahaha omfg thats hysterical and disgusting.. man i am so glad I am not into anal... why would you ever want to stick anything up there!!??

Thank you I am glad you like it Did I tell you how I lit the scene? Lol.
Yeah Thanks! I am really happy!
Speaking of the camera, I found one of my dad's olllld manual focus lenses. Old enough the body of the lens is metal instead of polymer like modern lenses lol. Its a prime lens and MAN is it nice! Let me link you an imagine of my sloppy joe Its fast as fuck too! Last night I took a picture out the window in pitch darkness and it still got a clearly visible image albeit very grainy lol. I had the iso cranked up to 6400 Its so cool though! Here is the sandwich! I just shot this with the light in the kitchen, not something I have ever been able to do with the other slower lenses I have used. sta.sh/01ofzrqp1k2g

Ps, hope that made sense, I am SOOOOOOOO TTIIRREEDD lol. I am going to sleep soon night

... Yeah. Got out of Dodge and never looked back!

Thanks for teaching me how to do this thing. You're not the first guy who wondered about how I sound. So... I'll download this Audacity thing and see what I can do!

Most wines don't stay good for too long - it really depends on how they are kept. "Old world" wines means they came from places like France, Spain and Italy. "New World" wines means Canada, States, South America and Africa. It's an older saying, really. As for the "I never drink wine"quote. Well, I'll let the man do it for me: www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMBdUz… (And this is an "Aberfeldy": www.thewhiskyexchange.com/p/58… It's a place in Scotland, but they also happen to make a thumpin' good Scotch. ) I... don't want to try this Malort now that I think of it. I mean... if it is on-par with Screech... and dude, how do you stay on par with Screech when it comes to horrendousness? Yeah... I gotta pass on that one. I don't know where you would get Screech in the States, though. You might have to look it up. My guess is that no one wants to import horrendousness into their own country! And that Bohemian absinthe? Yeah... Let's forget it existed.

Here's to hoping!

... You know what? I have absolutely no idea. And honestly... I don't wanna know...

I love the sloppy joe photo. You can almost count the little chunks of meat in there. That's just beautiful! And it goes to show you that old doesn't mean bad. It might just mean that people don't make stuff like that anymore. Keep experimenting with the lens! I expect to see good results from it!

Hey no problem Let me know if you have an issues. I mean worst case you could always download a recording app onto a phone or something and do it that way Thanks buddy

Ah ok, I got ya.
Haha oh god, I would not of drank shit coming from someone looking at me like that haha. You should get good at saying it like that I agree
Oh god, that looks amazing!  I would HAVE to try that scotch Especially since you say its "thumpin'" good
Haha well I have never had Screech so I could be wrong, I just highly highly doubt it lol. Funny you should say that as its illegal to sell Malort in Michigan I will look and see if I can get some Screech though! My friend Patrick would love it as he would get some weird hard on about the sea, bad liquor, and Canadian folk music haha.
Sounds like just drinking that Bohemian absinthe may just wipe out the memory of its existence

I concur!

I will have to retake that at some point for sure Like closer to the center of the place so you can see the whole thing Thank you! Oh yeah Those old lenses are built like tanks too! You expect? Your expecting this from me now!? Thanks

SinistrosePhosphate In reply to Loffy0 [2017-11-16 06:49:34 +0000 UTC]

No problem! I'll see if I can work things out from here.
Now... is there anything in specific you'd want me to say? "Hello? How are you doing?" sort of things?

Oh... that was a classic! (Of course, Bela Lugosi is always a classic... ) So yes! I should put on my best vampire cape and try to learn to say it like that!
Let's put it this way, Aberfeldy is not quite a beginner's Scotch, but it's not a mean one. It's just a bit on the heavier, smoky side. But hey, it works out for some people. So yes, definitely worth a shot. A bottle does go somewhere between $50-60, however, so be careful of the price tag. As for the Screech... let's put it this way, it's what Patrick's dreams are made of. The way for people "from away" to become an "honorary Newfoundlander" is to down a shot of Screech and kiss a cod. It doesn't get more Maritime than this! And if you can top it off with music from the Great Big Sea... you guys are pretty much all set! All aboard!
Now, now... what you are describing has a name. It's not Bohemian Absinthe. It's called the "Pan galactic gargle blaster" www.youtube.com/watch?v=JH_CY1…

Sure, I do! Why wouldn't I expect good things from you and that lens? I mean... if there's something I know for sure, we sure as heck don't build things the way we used to anymore. I collect old books, you see. And sometimes one of them can weigh as much as 2, 3, paperbacks put together, even if they are the same size. That's the difference we are talking about here. So yes, of course I expect good things. And I am looking forward to them!

Let's see... this house boasts a vast (some say cavernous), multi-layered basement with some permanent tenets. The view is great and it's located on a spacious lot, flanked by a ravine and the woods at the back. The yard is big and free of wild animals. Large spacious interior, complete open concept!

... that makes me sound like a real-estate agent. If I ever have to sell a "not haunted!" house, that's probably what I'll end up saying.

Thanks a lot for your very kind words! I hope the permanent residents in the basement are the friendly types, too!

Such a tempting house...so hard to pass up! I see that you've evaded the question about taxes...but given the architecture, it probably isn't in one of those overpriced places anyways .

A cavernous basement, that's perfect for conducting my experiments and locking people up!
And that ravine and yard will come in handy as well...
Now, what am I going to do with the interior, that's the question...

You are welcome ! Haha, I should probably get an exorcist to stop by first...

Well... I don't know enough about the taxes on this place... it really depends on where this place is, right? If it's anywhere like the places I used to live, then the taxes are well within the affordable range!

And honestly, I'm pretty partial to the basement, too. It's a lot less drafty in there. If you have a lab to run or people to lock up, the basement is the perfect place! Just... well, clean up the house very, very, very well before moving in!

Joking aside, thanks a million!

You are very welcome !

Sounds like a great place to commute from ! And of course...if I'm locking people up, the least I can give them is a clean floor and wall to be manacled to...

Serious question - I've been wondering this for a while, but how do you get the yellow parts of the piece to stay within the black "lines"? Do you cut a smaller piece and glue it underneath the "lines," start with them together and cut away both papers to make the white parts, or something else entirely?

SinistrosePhosphate In reply to craftsbyblue [2017-10-23 02:36:16 +0000 UTC]

Thanks!

Doesn't it? I tell you, there's a lot to love about this house, up to and including the neighbours (or the lack of them, for that matter...). And since the pipes are old and exposed... it's even better for keeping people in!

Oh, that part!
Ok, the black lines were done first on a single sheet of paper. The colours were glued on to the back piece by piece. So they were measured, cut out and glued to the back. If there are any stray pieces, they were cut away from the white "empty holes" to reveal the holes again.

Hope this helps!

You are welcome !

Lack of neighbors +10
Lack of exits for the basement roomies +100
This house is a wonder!

Your precision is amazing
Thanks so much for answering this !
I hope you don't mind if I ask another: when you glue the black & yellow pieces together, and also when you glue the entire piece to a support (not sure what the name for it is), how do you get the glue to not go over the "lines"/rip up the paper when you are applying it, and what is the best type of glue to use?

SinistrosePhosphate In reply to craftsbyblue [2017-10-24 04:48:07 +0000 UTC]

I like to think so, too. I mean... I -did- cut it, didn't I?

Thanks for your very kind words!
And no... I'm more than happy to answer your questions.

What kind of glue do I use? Funny that you might ask. I use a student's glue stick for the smaller pieces. These things are cheap, easy to get and they allow a little bit of freedom if you need to shift things around a bit. And since it's not a liquid, it doesn't really make a mess. So that's my go-to glue for small pieces. For sticking the piece onto a backing... well, you see, I don't usually glue things to a backing. When I can afford to frame them, they are usually framed without a backing at all. Fleeting seasons framed  But when I do need a backing (like your piece, with the floating bits), I usually use a spray adhesive to avoid getting things wet. I use LePage's Pres-Tite www.amresupply.com/part/01-068… because it was what was available at the time. It's not bad, really. However, I haven't had much chance to try others out... mostly because I really rarely use a backing.

I hope this helps!

It's good to think of your own works as wonders

You are very welcome, and thank you ! This really helps! I just need to make time to try paper cutting - working on my Etsy shop is taking up a HUGE chunk of time - and also overcome that fear of getting cut...

That's a relief...I didn't want to get expensive glue!

It looks like there's some room between where your piece is placed and the back of the frame, since there's the shadow - is there a layer of glass right behind your piece? I've never used a spray adhesive before, how long does it take for the piece to stick?

... Well... I guess so!
Now, I wouldn't quite call this "wonders". But I -am- quite happy with how it turned out. I guess that's OK, right?

No problems!
It certainly sounds like you've got a lot on your plate right now. There's really no hurry. So take your time! And let me know if you run into any problems. I'll do what I can to help!

Now... for more answers:
1. The example you are looking at is made from sandwiching the piece between two pieces of glass. There's no adhesive used in this case. I freaked out the guys at the custom frame shop with my request the first time I visited. They were unsure if it was going to work. But as you can see... it works out quite nicely. However, since there are two pieces of glasses involved, framing this way does cost quite a bit more. It also limits the places where you can display these pieces (because you pretty much need a plain wall like the one in the photo.) So most of the time, I'd recommend people to use a backing and have things framed in a more traditional way.

Another shop owner recommended framing a piece in a shadow box where the piece is lifted off the page on small pledgets to achieve the "floating" effect. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to fully get it done before I had to leave the city. So it's something I still need to experiment with.

2. Spray adhesive is, unfortunately, quite unforgiving. Once it's on... it's stuck on for good. So the backing is basically a "point of no return". For ease of framing, you want to keep your backing large enough so that it could be cut down to size. It's a lot easier to cut extra bits than to somehow add them on...

Hope this helps!

I'm glad you are happy with how it turned out

P.S. 'wonder' is used by Team Mystic in Pokemon Go to describe top-tier Pokemon (top 20% of their species), since I read it so often I ended up using it to describe...too many things . But I don't call something a wonder unless it's really impressed me. And impress me you have .

Thanks so much ! It's been very hectic lately, but thankfully, and finally...I've gotten my motivation to make jewelry back. I still want to try paper-cutting though - after all, I did already get the blades and cutting board

1) It's so gorgeous though! I'd love to see you use the floating effect!
2) Oh dear...doesn't sound like something I should use at this point in time xD; and thank you for the tips!

I am!
I am probably the happiest with buildings - for some strange reason. I build miniature castles and I cut pictures of buildings. But this is one of those nice and pleasant projects that finished just a little ahead of schedule. So I am very happy with it!

... thanks for the explanation! My brother plays Team Valiant, so... you know, slightly different. I don't play. So thanks for the explanation!
As for cutting paper... well... the good thing is it can always wait. Paper doesn't take up a lot of space and neither do blades. They will be there when you feel like trying something else. So the most important thing is to get yourself settled... and maybe crank out a few more wire pieces!

1. Well... floating effect means two things - One, I need a piece with enough structural stability for the pledgets, something like this house or this one Hyakkiyakou  The other thing is... I need to find someone in town who is brave enough to take me and my crazy idea on. I mean, I've already freaked out one store... maybe two. It's time to find the third shop owner to freak out. D;

2. No problem! My friend The-Old-Y uses backing all the time (due to floating pieces such as eyes and noses). I think he's got the patience of a saint, really. But it does goes to show you, different people have a slightly different style of doing things. If you choose to follow my lead... well, backing's not necessary. But managing the initial pattern takes a bit a more time. It's something that you'll have to decide for yourself later, I think.

No problem! Its fellow paper-cutters that really know how much time and effort these pieces take.

You're absolutely right on that!
That's why I am always in awe of your pieces. I know it must be really hard to deal with those "floating" bits and pieces. I can't bring myself to deal with those at all!

For those pieces its like putting a puzzle together, thats why I always keep the sections I cut them out from. That way I can line it all back up. The hard part is figuring out which small straight line fits where when they all look the same.

I love puzzles... but I don't like them -that- much!
But yes, I do understand what you are talking about. It's like an extra-hard puzzle where every piece look more or less the same!   But you are doing a great job with what you are doing. It's always a pleasure to see something new from you!
