Did a photo study of Chinese actress Jing Tian who is in a couple upcoming movies. Tried using chalk + paper textures in Corel Painter for the sweater texture, worked out pretty well I think.PS. 6E rhymes with sexy.

There are some noticeable inaccuracies in this image, if you compare it to the original photo (see: asianwiki.com/File:Jing_Tian-p… ).
Still, this is quite impressive, depending on how quickly you made this. While it's not the best work I've seen from you, I like this quite a bit.

Hey sinix I have a question. Um what is it that you have notice between Asian eyes and Caucasian eyes? I studied the skulls of both and found that Asians' orbits are shallower along with a squarer/lower nose cavity than Caucasians. As well as the unique Epicanthic fold due to the shape of the nasal cavity. Also that the eye is usually lower in the orbital cavity than Caucasians.
But no matter how many times I try to draw Asians from reference or imagination I find it looks Caucasian. Is the upper lid supposed be thinner or thicker than bottom? Is it the Epicanthic fold longer than I thought? Are the eyes smaller than Caucasians? Or set further apart? What have you noticed in the differences? I've been trying to figure it out for a couple months.
I know your busy but I thought I'd try and ask. Love your videos by the way. Taught me alot. Beautiful piece. I like how caricature like it is.
