I used a 18mm for this shot. I should have a 10mm-22mm soon too. Man I can't imagine what that one is going to do for me!!

Haven't seen the Milky Way OR Scorpio in so long that this is a sight for sore eyes. Hope you will post more pics from different portions of the sky!

In my messages I got this one mixed up with another photo. The Ritz Carlton is actually just up and over those mountains and with the clouds right above it, it cast a glow.

Can't be real! So much light on the horizon would totally wipe the Milky Way out - at least it would in my part of the world. Plus this: I can see the constellation Scorpio setting toward the west, meaning the sunset would actually be out of the pic, to the right. Tell me how I'm wrong!
