At least 250 hours of work went into this. 126 granny squares make up this vest. Over time it will get a little less stiff and more supple, as usual with crocheted pieces. Of course it is not exactly form-fitting... there is only so much you can do.... with squares.

I really like the outcome though and it is quite comfortable to wear.

Made from cotton yarn and ONLY cotton yarn.

There are nine different patterns of squares, each in 14 different colour combinations. No two squares are the same.

I used the pattern "Circle Of The Sun" by lillabjorncrochet.blogspot.com for the granny squares and parts of "Pearls of the Sea Clutch" by Gootie for the decorative hem.
