I absolutely LOVED drawing this, I mean, seriously, what a stunning little mare she is ^^The reference picture was fantastic, it showed up so much detail, I really learnt so much from doing this, new techniques and whatnot... I can't wait to test it out on other drawings too.
This isn't actually "finished" I still have a little bit more to do on it, and maybe I will look back in a few weeks/months and go 'yes, I would change that' **Like the highlights on her shoulder** but I'm pretty happy with it now so I guess here it is!
ALSO this is the first picture I have done using my tortillions, seriously, they are the best thing since my pencil rubber! They helped tremendously, thankyou Nan!!

You know, I just stumbled across this, and I want to let you know that it's absolutely stunning. Just that deep, glossy sheen, and the sharp, detailed contrast... Yum.

That's really what I needed to hear! I have issues with making the darker bits REALLY dark, I'm afraid I'll get it wrong, it will look odd, and I won't be able to undo it. Thank you so much

To be honest I have the same problem sometimes. As a recommendation, get an "ArtGum" eraser. It gets almost anything out (It's a life saver).
