The first thing I need to address: This is not Chiya holding a newborn child, this is Fiona holding Chiya. Fiona was in her early twenties when she gave birth to Chiya, hence the reason they look nearly identical.

On a planet of absolute socialism, impoverished families, and daily imprisonments of free-speakers, a child is brought into the universe by Mysterian mother, Fiona Flower, and her husband, Robert Flower, who is closely aligned with the Workers' Party of Mysteria. A happy moment for the Flower family as Baby Chiya Flower is brought into the new world, unfortunately, this would be the beginning to a declining marriage between Fiona and Robert. While the Flower family stayed strong even with a dying marriage, Chiya would eventually learn that she was destined for better things. While Fiona went on to favor her younger daughter, Abigail, Chiya was loved to pieces by her mother.

Naturally, Fiona was beyond surprised to see her little girl return to Mysteria, now a fully grown woman, and professional F-Zero racer...
