This is wonderful. I find that one of the few things I really don't like about 3d art is that there is so much effort put into making things realistic but then a lot of artist don't age things properly. This bathroom has a lot of personality to it that I find refreshing. The tiles on the left hand side don't all lay flat to suggest a quick job by the builder, the tiles on the floor look like things have been dropped on them or they have received water damage. There are dark spots on the window that look like an accumulation of dirt from fingerprints and damage from weather and the plumbing looks plain gross. I love the time you put into making this room feel used. Great work.

My man! I saw this on 3D total I believe! What n earth! Please show me a wireframe! You are amazing. Can you give me insight on the Resolution of the texutres you use? especially the door, is it one object and one texture? or built from parts? i would rate this 10 out of 10!

What was the render time?
Project time?
Poly count.... Gah you are my Idol

Nothing gives away that this is a render. I've scoured the entire piece and everything seems perfectly photographed. The imperfections truly create the realism. You, sir, are a true master.
I'd love to see a higher res version of this

Pretty awesomely made and nice render. Though it lacks some camera errors or lens errors. Bloom, vignetting, chromatic aberration, general dirtyness perhaps and other effects like dust clouds in the bright light. Reflections are damn nicely done however there's also bright area behind the camera if I see right. I think it could be more better to use a photo in behind the camera. With fitting setting of course. I really like the dirty look in it. It's far from repetitive, nice little details everywhere. Especially much I like the wooden parts of the window and the door. It's quite much the best texturing job I've seen for a while.

and then I was like "... that's not a photo!?!"

Wonderful job.

Pretty amazing. You remembered to add such incredibly intricate details---the patterns in the glass and the shadow of a broken shutter through the window, cracks and dried brushstrokes in the paint on the door, cracks and discolor in the tiles of the floor... really impressive. Was this all from your mind or was there a reference picture? The only thing that left me wondering was how you flush the toilet. I couldn't find the handle; was this intentional, or am I just missing it somewhere?
