Drawn by and starring Mei from Pacific Rim The Black. A netflix anime series set in the Pacific Rim universe and a few years post the events of the second film... and oh boy if you thought Uprising was being too light hearted and cheerful Pacific Rim the Black does a full 180 from that. Spoilers but "The Black" in the title refers to the PPDC operation for abandoning land to the Aliens and kaijus and leaving anyone unable or unlucky enough to not escape in time to fend for themselves. Needless to say the ending of taking the fight to the aliens is not all present and the series is considerable darker and focusing more on survival. Oh and the operation called "The Black" that isn't a season finale thing that happens in the first episode. The series starts with humanity loosing the war worse than ever before... Kinda odd that a Netflix anime would be the darkest the series so far has gotten. Normally Netflix stuff is considered to light hearted but Pacific Rim the Black is the one who flips that.

Also if it isn't obvious this a major recommendation to give it a watch if you can. If your a fan of Pacific Rim or just simply darker takes on more light heart things in general it should please you nicely.

As for the piece itself it's one of the main characters as of current season 1: Mei. Who is a kick ass lady whom I hope continues to develop, and live, but mostly develop even more than she currently does in only the first season and is criminally underused in the fanart department so hoping to fix that with this pinup a bit. A simple pinup but a fun for a fun character. Also note that in the series proper her battle armor calls attention to her noticeable boobies. This piece is really only a exaggeration as she is plenty stacked in the anime proper.
