Hey everyone! Happy Street Fighter 6 release day!

(Artist note: Before you ask... NO.... I have not forgotten about a particular comic starring this wonderful, feisty barefoot Tomboy and how she deals with a certain group of tickle hungry video makers... It's still in the works. Not only am I trying to give it a good ending, but maybe have the ending serve as a fine beginning to more comics... Now, with that out of the way... )

I bring to you another finished commission by a generous person who wishes to stay anonymous!

As part of the commission, a story was to be contributed as well.

"I can't believe those jerks!"

Makoto yells at the smokey screen of an old TV tucked away in the corner... she was (currently) not invited to another year of Street Fighter...Again.

As an already highly competitive person and fighter, she was shocked that the Rindoukan Dojo was overlooked like this...especially since it was in the spotlight many many years ago, where she had a chance to go toe to toe with the likes of the world famous Shotokan fighter, Ryu.

There was more than just her pride being brought down by this, but also her opportunities to restore her dilapidated Dojo. She manages the odd job here and there in-between training... spending what little she earns on ramen noodles and 'good-enough' building materials. The dojo was operational, but it's overall visual condition made a pigsty look like a mansion.

Makoto continues to stare at the TV, her round face glowed cherry red with anger.

All of the fighters on display were indeed good, but Makoto knew she had the ability to take them all on no matter how big and strong they were.

But why were THEY invited?

...and then her expression changed from anger to realization. She saw that almost all of the fighters were barefoot, and there was multiple close ups to their feet. One of the fighters who got a lot of attention was one that Makoto recognized from a previous Street Fighter tournament... a scary lookin' lady who seemed to have a thing for spiders with two spikey black pigtails. Each one of her bare toes held a brilliant light blue polish, of which she seemed very eager to show off. There were two more fighters that she has never seen before... a very tall, and very skinny ballerina girl, and what looks like a giant straight out of an ancient Greek colosseum.

"Ah ha! That's it!"

Makoto rushed to the washing room in the back of the dojo and hurriedly stepped inside of a tin bath already filled with lukewarm water before furiously scrubbing the dojo dust that hugged her powerful feet. She smiled in confidence knowing that she finally figured it out, knowing exactly what to do as she already had a lot of experience with this from one of her odd jobs*. As she stepped out of the tub and dried herself off, she grabbed a nearly empty bottle of baby oil from a shoddy wooden shelf, before messily smearing it into her feet until she could see her reflection from them..

Satisfied, she gingerly tiptoed back into the main dojo chamber, trying very hard not to get her feet dirty again. The master then plopped herself down on the floor and kicked her feet up on a pillow set atop a cheap chabudai table. She yanked a small camcorder from underneath the table and fumbled around with it with slippery oil soaked fingers to get it working. She didn't have much familiarity with the device... not because she was technologically illiterate, but she had only just got the camcorder last week as compensation from a punk who tried to film her without permission... That and multiple swift hard punches to his gut.

The camcorder buzzed to life, its red recording light flickered with activity.

"Alright! Time for Rindoukan to be back on the map! They want feet? I'll give them feet!"

She placed the camcorder as far away from her as she could on the small table and placed her shapely, shiny feet right in front of it, clumsily wiggling and flexing them around and flinging baby oil everywhere.

In the young Rindoukan Master's mind, there was no way this could fail.

Shame Makoto didn't make it to Street Fighter 6 with the others... Would be nice to see how she's doing years into the future.
