Continuing on with more Pokemon art! O w O

I've always been so partial to electric types. They're definitely my favorite. I'm not 100% sure why, but I've just always been fascinated with them. I was having a hard time deciding which Pokemon to do a piece of next, and =miss-meister suggested Ampharos. Awesome choice, because I've wanted to do a dynamic, "thundery" piece for a while, but I've never had the right subject. This one worked flawlessly!

I'm actually really surprised! I tried some new things and they worked out exactly as I had hoped they would! I started to lose my motivation in the middle of this piece, but a good friend of mine referred me to "Above and Beyond"s podcast, which is essentially just, two full hours of eargasmic trance music.. which is perfect for drawing. Thus, with my electric soul restored within me, I was able to finish.. and I'm happy I did.
