So um, Howland Reed. Maybe? He has not yet been introduced but this is how I picture him. If it turns out later that he is nothing at all like this I will simply change it a little and call him a ranger.

Really cool I really dig your style in general and your ASoIaF particularily. Martin doesn't give us much about Howland, just that he's Ned's buddy, he's kinda small and he was one of the two guys to come out of a fight with three of the supreme badasses of Westeros! I can't really imagine him going toe-to-toe with Arthur Dayne, I think he just hung back and did his back-stabby rogue thing with a poisoned trident or smth.

I imagine he blow darted him or something. Martin is being EXTREMELY coy about that though. I mean, Arthur Dayne is like the most famous knight, you'd think SOMEONE in their head would be like "Pft. killed by a dart. Shame." But no, we don't know anything about it. I mean they recovered is body surely.

When it comes to that particular fight, I think Reed did most of the killin'... Ned's on his back, wounded with his comrades dead all about him and three kingsguard bearing down on him. Then: *Pffoot* *Pfoot* *Pffoot* Trollface Howland Reed blowdarts the shit out of them

Well he likely knows alot about the supernatural aspects of the series. He's possibly a greenseer too.

But at this point his main function would be to say whatever Lyanna made Ned promise.

Should I ever be in a cosplay project that's based off of A Song of Ice and Fire, this is who I'll play. We have never seen him, but he's described as small, smart, brave and strong. I'm short and stocky, so I'd be perfect. Plus, I can pass for a thirty five year old, even though I'm only twenty eight.
