Description This is the Mammoth Tank. Used by the Soviet Union, it is the largest and heaviest armed and armored tank in the world. The Mammoth Tank's main weapon is it's dual 120mm cannons which fire armor piercing anti-tank shells. It is also equipped with twin "Mammmoth Tusk" IR Guided missile launchers, twin heavy machine guns and an auxiliary medium machine gun. The polygon count for this model is about 3036 polygons

This model was made for the Renegade Alert total conversion (www.renalert.com) for Renegade.

(This is the updated version, a dual machine gun/turret, steps, and various other little things were added.)

I just done some research into the Mammoth Tank. I learned it was from Command and Conquer. What I must say is that I wish these MOFOs were real.

It looks like it because they're both the mammoth tank... The Renegade one is just their rendition of the Tiberian Dawn (CnC 95) mammoth tank, mine is based on the original one with all of the details from Red Alert (Which happens to be pretty much what the one in Tiberian Dawn looked like.)

Nope, not even close, they're barely similar. This mammoth tank was made completely by me, just like everything else in my gallery.

Now, to prove how wrong you are, I imported the Renegade mammoth tank in to 3dsmax, set them both side by side, and rendered them without smoothing groups to show how differently they look.
