                                                                        Subject 3: Blake Tagsman

Meet Blake Tagsman, a day 1 resident of Devious Alley whom got a job as a boiler watcher & a free housing benefit in the heating section for Devious Alley. Blake is a victim to a drugged plasmid mixed with Inferno, Devil's Kiss, Horous's Sun plasmids, & bat-like genes. He has a wing for a right arm & has a mass of fur growing on him. His left arm, left upper face, & left legs were the only thing not affected by the drugging, but his veins had been affected by it. The only form of clothes he can ever really fit in are some jeans he modified to be considered more like shorts. He's usually very depressed, as he had accidentally killed his wife after drinking the fiery bat plasmid concoction. The story goes that Blake & his wife Martha were originally from Texas, & had been chosen as one of the 15,000 people to come down to Rapture. However, he was also one of the 500 people taken from that 15,000 to go to Devious Alley. Now, unlike the 14,500 who went via lighthouse bathysphere, the other 500 were brought out early & into Devious Alley via lighthouse bathysphere a few days earlier, while Mr.Ryan was dealing with the debts in America on that particular day. Now, when they got down there, each person was given a particular job at random, Blake got boiler duty. He'd be able to live in a small apartment with his wife, as long as he did his work to keep the heating going in Devious Alley. Now, when plasmids started to be introduced around the alley, Blake & his wife had sworn not ingest any of it, as they felt it went against their own self morale, they were criticized for this by multiple people in Devious Alley, so much so, Blake had to fend off against one of his co-workers because he was threatening him with a syringe with the common "Telekenisis" plasmid in it. Thankfully, he was able to detain the co-worker with a bit of steam release off the old boiler. Every night, Blake would go home to his wife, feeling awful, as most of the citizens had been mocking him for not splicing. Now, on one particular day, Blake got a call from the co-worker he detained, said he got fired & was being transfered to Devious Alley's trash & scrapyard section. (More on that with the next subject) The co-worker said he'd send Blake an apology basket for his troubles. Blake accepted this & thanked the co-worker & bid him goodnight. Now, as gullible as Blake was, he was worried there might be some form of plasmid in the basket, thankfully, there was nothing more than a bottle of red sparkling wine & some biscuits with buttered centers. Now, Martha never drank wine, as she was a tea drinker, so she got the biscuits & Blake got the wine. However, upon drinking said wine, Blake felt his insides turn to fire, his skin begin to turn to fur, his wife shrieking at the sight of the transformation. Blake wasn't aware of the ingestible plasmids made by the Fontaine Brand, as those were never introduced around Devious Alley, but some way, somehow, the co-worker had managed to smuggle in a bottle of Devil's Kiss, all the way from Fontaine's Department Store over in main Rapture, & mix it with Incinerate, Horus's Orb, & some weird bat genetic. Blake began blurting out fire, which set his little apartment on fire. Martha had gotten caught in the flames, however, & Blake soon felt a great mourn of her death, he was hideous, alone, & hurting. Blake went on to hide among the nooks & crannies Devious Alley's heating section, hiding away & feeding off what little scraps & rats come by. Soon, rumors began sparking up of "The Boogeyman in Devious Alley", word of a bat-like creature hiding in the shadows, waiting for someone to see him, only for him to kill them with his fiery breath... As he mourns for the one he lost... "Martha! I'm sorry, Martha!"

                                                                            Plasmid 3: Horus's Orb

Info: This plasmid, like most of Fontaine's plasmids, was banned from Rapture, as fear the heat from the orb would be too much for the structure of Rapture & may be used to melt down structures. This was, however, a false claim, as the orb produced heat for citizens, but seemed to not affect anything that didn't have skin or flesh.

Base Effects: Allows the user to summon a friendly fiery floating orb that leaches itself onto one enemy at a time & set that enemy on fire. The player could get burn damage if too close to the orb.

New & Improved Effects: The orb could now burn multiple enemies at a time & user burn damage from the orb is lowered to half.

Maxed Out Effects: The user could now charge up & cast two orbs at enemies & the user will no longer take fire damage if in contact with the orb.
