They will always be "VF" squadrons to me, not matter how many "VFA" hornets they operate.

You forgot the Skull Squadron but it's pretty good

the propper name is "VF-84/VFA-103 Jolly Rogers"
"Skull Squadron" from Robotech was based on them, but the real JRs flew the F-14 A, and B models, they never got the D sadly.
