"Huaaaah!" screamed Madd. Her wings were suddenly wet. "What the hell was that?"
"Maybe a monkey peed on you?" Lithsemmanë grinned.
"Very funny," sighted her rider. "I can't fly now. Wait -- what is this?"
Lith stopped and smiled. "That's it. That's the stone!" The mare started to wade in the dirty water.
"Oh my god," whispered Maddeleyne as she saw where exactly was the stone - it was levitating right between a crocodile's jaws. Her horse apparently didn't mind it and gave it's nose a nudge.
"Got it! It's sleeping," said Lith happily.
"Well, not for long."
