Description
At the beginning of the 1970s, an offensive of municipal housing construction was launched in Vienna. Extensive prefabricated housing estates sprang up, especially in the outlying districts.Already equipped with district heating and connected to public transport, urgently needed affordable housing was created.
While the housing units built were state-of-the-art at the time, the ravages of time have gnawed away at the buildings' structures.
