Weezer is an interesting band. Especially the lead singer Rivers Cuomo. Thing is, Weezer is the band Milhouse Van Houten would form with Martin Prince and the other nerds. Cuomo has a talent for drawing from the well of Awkward Teen Angst, because that's all he's been for the past 30+ years. It's for that reason, I believe you can score the entirety of Star vs. The Forces of Evil with Weezer, and you wouldn't lose anything. I mean aside from the magical girl parody, the crux of the show is just awkward teen moments, and if you listen to their albums, Weezer has that in spades. So yeah. I think it's a good match.
