Digital + design commission for TheHappySultanHe asked me to draw his genie oc Laniakea as a mermaid (designed by me c
I had a lot of fun figuring out the design for this one, as I wanted to maintain the space elements of her original design, while not keeping it too close to the original (I had a lot of freedom in this design because Lani doesn't have much of a set design to herself and it has changed a lot throughout the years, so I could experiment a bit).
It took a bit longer than usual because since I knew this is a really important character for my client, I wanted to make extra sure that he would like the final design (to the smallest of details). So there was a lot of back and forth between us to ensure that c:
