Stopped by the (tiny) annex infirmary bay on the field before heading over to the actual wing at HQ.It's funny, but even though Rex is kissin Noah here, it really doesn't seem romantic at all. XD STILL BROTASTIC DUDES MAN.
I don't know where I get the notions that it's okay for me to make up all these projects for me to work on when I shouldn't and should be doing other things (maybe I'm in denial that I'll have to focus on schoolwork soon D8 ). xD But, I was like, thinking of it while driving (don't cars make a great place for thinking? XD) and couldn't stop smiling at the concept, so... yeah. HAHAH YEAH AND I STILL HAVE MORE PROJECTS IMMA WORK ON SO SCREW YOU. I don't know who I'm trying to flip off here except myself. >>;;; ._.
OH AND BLOOD. There isn't enough blood in GenRex. There should totally be more blood.

The kind of relationship I slash them to be is like, a super awesome relationship in my head. It's more friendship than anything, but they're so comfortable with each other that they get to cross over that friend-more line and then they later laugh about that, too. XD
Hahaha, yeah. Maybe. It'd be cool if they upped the bloodiness, but I have a feeling that it'd have to be bumped to Adult Swim for them to do that. XD;

I love you. So much. This made my entire week. Bromance, a little tenderness, and being all beat up...you've hit on all of my favorite things in one fell swoop.
These two just make such a great pair, be it romance or bromance 
I think you capture their relationship very well here. People dont turn to instant sap when in a relationship. They're still the same pals they've always been; they just actually get to act upon those previously secret desires to make out now that they know the feeling is mutual

Hehe. I totally agree. They have this really great dynamic between them as friends that I just love seeing. Like, they're so comfortable with each other and totally just them. I know Rex doesn't really yield his personality to anyone, but I kind of feel he brings out something better in Noah though. XD
Yeah, I totally hate it when people make characters turn into mushy gooey love stuff just because they're in a relationship with someone. I think it fills them with bullshit and seriously just HATE bullshit. XD

You hit the nail on the head precisely with them being so comfortable with each other. Luckily, Noah is so patient with Rex that, surely, eventually he'll get it through Rex's head that Rex can come to him with his problems the same way Noah does with him 
And yeah, it's so out of character for them to be just 100% mush. They're best friends first, with a little bit of affection thrown in here and there, not Romeo and Juliet!
Noah is sarcastic, witty, a bit of a pessimist (and, luckily for Rex, he's patient
Their mush is probably limited to the occasional spur-of-the-moment little kiss after an emotionally exhausting time (for example, this lovely illustration of them both injured after a battle, and the two of them are just happy that they're both alive and more or less in one piece), probably an awkward pause afterward, and then, most likely, they'd tease each other over how sappy they were being

It's not so much OC's that drive me crazy. It's the fact that 99% of said OC's in this fandom are blatant marysues and garystus. Just use keywords "generator rex" in the DeviantArt search engine, and sort by 'newest'; you'll see what I mean

Oh hey, I noticed you're on Providence Playground! My good pal Cybra is on there too 
I don't mind a little mush as long as it's in character. Most people just tend to blow it way out of proportion, and it ends up with everyone completely out of character. 
Noah's gonna try to tough it out, maybe bite his own lip while Rex helps him to the curb, staying calm on the outside but quietly worrying on the inside as he asks Noah if he needs to go to the doctor. Noah might nod and say that might be a good idea, Rex will calmly take him there, get Noah taken care of, and then maybe later, out of the public eye, Rex can grab him in a head lock, mess up his hair, and plant a little kiss on the top of his head as he mumbles teasingly that he can't take Noah anywhere because he's such a klutz.
GAH THESE TWO ARE SO FUN. We need some new episodes. Badly. With Noah. Preferably Noah getting himself beat up. He's overdue. Rex, Six, and Holiday already got a turn.
