What does it mean to boolean, and how do i do it?

it has many meanings, but for blender it refers to the Boolean Modifier
in laymans terms, if you take one object, make it clip with another, than apply the modifier (with the selected object, i call it a template personally) with said objects intersecting, it'll make a cut the shape of the other object
like if i wanted to make a cab door, i'd model an object that looks like the cab door, then stick it through both cab walls
i then go to the Modifiers tab and go to boolean, select the object for making the cab opening, then apply it
